It couldn’t happen to me...

But it did. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer December 26, 2008 after a routine mammogram. As I began my journey I realized I had no supportive pink ribbons. A relative gave me a pin and cosurvivor gave me a bracelet. At the same time I lost my job. These things came together and Pink Ribbon Gifts arose from the ashes. I had owned another small business in the past and I loved creating things, so the jewelry mission found me.

My goals are to promote awareness of cancer and to remind people to do something healthy and get their scans. My hope is my jewelry lifts someone up to heal and serves as an opportunity for someone to share their story with others.

My items feature the ribbons of awareness and are designed to be easy to get on and off. They are designed to be given as a gift for someone who is going through the battle or a testament of someone you love. I also support cancer patient programs with 10% of proceeds going to very worthy organizations.
